The best one is the eutectic alloy Sn63Pb37 solder bar, which has lowest melting point and very good solder joint, good shearing strength and bonding strength. Besides that, there're solder bar of Sn60Pb40, solder bar Sn50Pb50, solder bar Sn40Pb60 and even to a low tin solder bar such as Sn5Pb95. The higher content of tin is, the more expensive it would become.2. Lead free solder bar. We can tell right away from the name that this type of solder bar contains no lead, in replacement of lead, silver and copper are usually used. Majorly there SAC305 solder bar (Sn96.5Ag3.0Cu0.5), SAC0307 solder bar (Sn99Ag0.3Cu0.7), SAC07 solder bar (Sn99.3Cu0.7).
